Harry Meyer - Bäume

Trees are a fundamental element of the landscape, a symbol of life and a unique natural landmark. In all cultures and times, they are attributed a great importance, just as in the impressive work series "Bäume" by Harry Meyer. The artist dedicates these paintings to their appearance in the change of seasons, their growth, their individuality and complexity as well as their symbolic character. In his tree-portraits Meyer visualizes the diversity of the mystical and omnipresent creatures.
